  I know Chuck and Blair belong to each other, but I was so sorry for Nate. I mean, he loves her, too. And after they had broken up a long time ago, he had kind of lost his head, as it seemed to me: 2xVanessa, this married 38-years old woman, Jenny and this woman at Yale. And when he came back with Blair, I just wanted them to be happy and kind of feared it was not going to last. Now the writers should give him some time to mourn and then, after some time has passed, a new girlfriend. But it has to be someone very different from Blair or she will always be compared to her (though not someone so different that compares to Vanessa, probably a funny, lively, stylish and beautiful girl, someone he can be happy with).

  And I would like to add a quote: Carol( in response to Mr. van der Woodsens girlfriend): "The only tattoo I´m getting tonight is your face on my fist."
