  I like Vanessa's clothes for once. I also like Serena's dress. A bit more modest choice for her but not that modest- even though she's not showing cleavage , the folding on the front of her dress draws attention to her deriere. lol

  I think the Serena trying to find her dad storyline though does give some insight as to why Serena used to be wild. It's common for girls who don't have a good relationship with their dads to seek this lack of attention in other men. Hopefully, the writers don't stuff up this storyline.

  Also agree with Jkay..more character-driven, less plot-driven..all the other characters would also benefit from this. Probably even Vanessa and people would probably like her more. Although she's more of a supporting role rather than a protagonist, we hardly know anything about her so everything about her just seems really contradictory.

  I think it's kinda good though that the writers introduced her...most of the people Jenny knew/hung out with at some pt are going off to college, etc. It'd be a bit weird introducing a character Jenny and Eric's age next season if it was a current student at Constance Billard/St Judes..better if it was a new student and even better that it's someone we've already been introduced to.

  A bit off-topic to this thread but didn't know where to post elsewhere...

  Has anyone noticed in Goodbye Gossip Girl when Serena is packing for her travelling and Blair helping, Blair neatly folds Serena's clothes but then when she hands it to Serena, Serena just messes up the clothes again when putting in her bag? lol

  How will I relate it to this thread...ummm...classic case of opposites attract?

  Anyway, yeah obviously I've been watching GG a bit too many times.
