Scandal Round Table: "Defiance" (12/7/2012)@Miranda Wicker it was later found out that the aide was the target but the president was shot. And also like the most recent episode of Scandal the episode did flashbacks as well. I'm a huge fan of the show and an even bigger West Wing fan so I always watch for similarities in how they display the actual workings of D.C.
Grey's Anatomy Review: Bright and Shiny (12/7/2012)I think everyone is missing the point of showing the interns. I actually enjoyed watching the interns this week because it gave me a chance to see how far our surgeons have come from when they were interns. Watching them teach the new crop of doctors and seeing Alex, Meredith, and Yang in the positions that Bailey, Dr. Webber and Derek usually held showed just how much of a rockstar our favorites have become. As always with shows that I have come to love I trust the writers to tell the story rather than spoon feeding me stories that they think will fit me. Watching stories unfold on television is much more enjoyable when you realize that its about viewing a compelling story that is being told to you rather than catering to every whim and want of its viewers. We'd be the writers if that were the case. Watching television for me is a lot like reading a book except its coming alive before my eyes. I don't only read certain books only because I think it will end the way I want it to. I read a book because I want the author to tell me an entertaining and most often moving story. Relax and let the writers tell you a story.
The Vampire Diaries Review: To Sire, With Love (12/7/2012)If you want a tv show catered to your every whim and idea then write one yourself. It is their job to write a compelling storyline. Let it entertain you. Stop all the whining and just enjoy the story! Also, as soon as I saw Madeline Zima I knew her character was going to be crazy. She oozes that crazy lady vibe.
