I am a big fan of the show. Own every season on DVD and everyone around me knows how much I love this show. Glad there's a place where I can come to for inside info and be surrounded by people that love the show as much as I do.

    I think it was because there was music playing all the time in the background with his voiceover. I know there usually is with Meredith's but we aren't used to hearing Derek's voice so it just gets lost. There were several times last night where I thought music was used a little too much. Don't get me wrong, I love the new songs that Shonda picks out for the episodes but when it's background filler type music, indicating an intense scene, it's sometimes a little overboard.
