• The Vampire Diaries Giveaway: Who is the Mystic Falls Murderer? (2/28/2012)

  I'm rooting for it to be Elena, but I have to go with the incredibly infamous and still very human Sheriff Forbes. Lets consider this rationally: She has the second greatest connection to the medical examiner, second only to Meredith Fell. And that's just too obvious at this point. She has thorough knowledge about vampires and therefore knew how to stage a murder like the victim was a vampire. And Bill Forbes' death? Here the motive is obvious: she was still in a jealous rage over his assumedly successful relationship while she remained lonely, single, and in desperate need of another sexual experience with a man actually interested in her gender. Plus, he had hurt Caroline too many times before. And finally, poor Alaric Saltzman, the man who has been killed more times than the majority of these characters have had sex. A depressingly hilarious feat. He's a fairly loose cannon at this point, Liz probably came to the conclusion that she was helping him out by offing him quicker.
