Lost Review: Jacob Knows Jack

Is it possible that the "sideways" version of 2004 is what happens to the losties WITHOUT Jacob having pulled their strings?

Not convinced that was Walt. He was considerably skinnier, but to be fair, it's a little hard to get a perfect look alike at this point since the original actor has aged 6 years. Guess we can look forward to Michael's parent-teacher conference appearance. To continue the whole black & white theme, has anyone else noticed the significance of the background to the show logo. For the first 4 seasons and all but the end of season 5, the logo was black on a white background. Since the end of season 5 it's been white on a black background. I think this is a fairly obvious symbol for control of the island passing from Jacob (white clothes, the white rock that the fake Locke pitched from the cave) to the Smoke Monster/Fake Locke (black clothing, black smoke, black rock on the scales--and by the way is there a further metaphor in the crashed ship's name, the Black Rock?). Of course this could be so obvious that everyone else knows it, and I'm an idiot for thinking it's interesting.
