Hi all, I'm new here and wanted to tell all you Ando Masahashi fans out there to check out my short film "Akira's Hip Hop Shop" starring James Kyson Lee. It's part of a Japanese online contest and is only playing until August 31st. It's a romantic dramedy about a Japanese guy who loves hip hop who meets a Black girl with a passion for Asian food. 22 minutes that will hopefully make you smile during lunch. I'm a big fan of the show and happy to say James is a great guy off camera. He participated in this which was my thesis film at the tail end of shooting the classic first season. He was fun to work with and a true professional that inspired me and my whole crew which was a mix of pros and students.
