It was wonderful to see Emma finally not run away from Killian and actually smile warmly at him and kiss his doubts away. It felt like a miracle to me that Emma higher-walls-than-anyone actually stood there, while he read her like an open book, and smiled self consciously when he told her she was indeed avoiding him. I can't wait to see Emma's growth this season and I can't help but think that I wish the focus was more on her than on others...
To be honest I'm a bit feustrated with Regina getting so much focus. It's so frustrating to see her feel like a victim and again not taking any responsibility by blaming anyone and anything else but her own actions for her unhappiness. She's caused so much pain - not the least to Emma and her family - and yet she still is portrayed like a victim. I feel like the writers let her get away with so much (including killing her own father and Graham, incarcerating Belle for more than 28 years, etc) because Regina has so many fans...I wish she'd finally accept responsibility...
But most of all I wish the focus would shift to someone else than her...namely Emma.

You're such a star , Jim!! Thank you for this amazing interview!
You really asked about everyone - and I 'm so happy you seem to love Hook and Emma as much as I do :) I was hoping that the frozen storyline would be handled the way Adam and Eddy describe it here. As a way of getting an even better insight into our beloved regulars. I love Frozen very much but I love our regulars even more. I can't waitto see the parallels between Emma and Elsa, Anna / Kristoff and Emma / Killian. I can't wait to find out how those two worlds are connected. I'm sure it's gonna be amazing!! As was the Neverland arc which shed so much light and revealed truths about the regulars.
I love that Eddy said that Emma and Killian's feelings will be dealt in a "real way". For me personally his is why Emma and Killian are my favorite love story on the show - it's magical in how endless Killian's love is for Emma and how they're both kindred spirits; but also so real in that Emma's trust issues are dealt with in a VERY realistic way. I'm very much looking forward to see Emma and Killian grow closer!!
And while I love tho irate within Killian, I also appreciate that he's a man if honor with an incredibly courageous heart. I hope nothing we'll see in S4 will put that into question.

Continuing on my Insatiable rant :) : As far as the plot goes, I remember the writers describing Insatiable as a "game changer" and I think that describes it very well. The whole episode had a very different feel to it from all the other episodes before. I don't know if I can put my finger on it but it felt like we entered a new era. The procedural element had already been missing for a few episodes, so it wasn't that. And it wasn't simply Gabe's presence either because he was already there in Any Means Possible. Was it seeing a very cool, gum-chewing Vincent and JT as undercover "investigators" at the antique weapons store? Evan agreeing to compromise evidence for Muirfield? Joe keeping Tess on the side lines in order to protect her? The suggestion that Gabe is the one trying to set Vincent up and trying to get to him before the authorities? Evan finding Vincent's DNA on Cat's scarf and later admitting to JT that he's in kahoots with Muirfield? Catherine suggesting that her and Vincent could never again lose themselves in each other and that they have to be more sensible from now on? Or was it Tess finding Vincent in the tunnels and shooting him? Probably all of those things put together :) So many things happened in Insatiable and it seems everyone is out there in the open and vulnerable...Vincent especially (and literally). This is definitely a new era for BATB.
And the entering of this new era was powerfully brought home by the burning down of the warehouse, or the three musketeers' "home", or the old lair. A new safe haven is needed and a new home...maybe one that will shelter not only Vincent, Cat and JT but Tess as well. There are definitely new times ahead of us...personally, I can't wait!
