lechatnoir why would she show pictures of her "cuddling children with torn t-shirts" when her work is for animals and not children? I get what you are saying about people choosing "Save Africa" as a general campaign to show the world "they care" but I really don't think that's the case here.
Plus it drives me crazy that they like Aylin for her story. If that is the case there is no point in having The Glee Project. If they were choosing based on character then they could make that choice on day one. Why have 12 weeks of competition? Nothing has changed in that regard since the beginning. But if we are talking about talent- then over that course of time it's worth it to see people grow as singers, actors, and performers.
She doesn't have the emotional range to tell any story other than a girl who rebelled against her religion because she's horny
-Fortinbras I could not agree with you more.
I've come to the conclusion that I barely even believe Aylin's struggle with her religion is as bad as she makes it out to be. Considering her family let her leave to join an acting competition for 3 months.
I am also going to assume that real Muslim girls would prefer to see other girls like themselves on tv. Meaning in head garb and practicing their religion but still fitting in with the rest of their peers. Not "revolting" against what they believe in.
