  Hi. Long time lurker and posting newbie here. I don't think Mellie had anything to do with the assassination attempt. She uses manlipulation or blackmail, not assassins to get what she wants. IMHO the writers want us to think she had something to so with it, when really she just had a feeling something was not right.
