I totally agree with JJA. This was as good as action gets and wonderful relationships between the characters. I will be so sorry to see it end, but thank whoever had the good sense to finish it up properly and a BIG bang.
continued from below....
So much going on with unanswered questions, that I wasn't compelled to really care about. When characters I find interesting disappear, I'm disappointed. I mean the duplicitous Claire, Agent Kyle (I heard his last name but forgot it), Dad played by Roan from Nikita, Brooke the step thingie, Sarah, J.T.s girlfriend, even Joe Bishop.
I'm glad for Season two and think they'll get the storyline in order and focused, otherwise I won't be able to focus and that's when I stop watching.
I have watched this show from the pilot and really enjoyed it as it progressed along. Mostly because I like this modern day take on one of the fairy tales that I adore, that you love what a person really is and not what they appear to be.
Gabe was a great threat, but a not so great monster and Tyler was killed off before we knew what Muirfield did to her. I liked the banter between her and J.T. and their roles could have furthered the storyline. I miss Evan. I kinda wish Cat and Vincent were as witty as Tess and J.T. Keeping lovers from being together and their fight to overcome the odds is what makes a show like this worth watching. I think they did that at the very end and in an interesting way, but getting there wasn't as engaging as I thought it could be.
Everyone seemed to agree that the procedural police drama wasn't very good or necessary, but I liked it because it gave context to their love story and made Cat seemed less one dimensional.
