Downton Abbey Review: A Wedding and a Funeral (2/13/2012)
I'm glad someone else (Aya M) is confused about Richard's origins--they're not British?? What have we missed? Is anyone else suffering from multiple whiplash after watching this episode? All of the total flips from "normal"...Robert's kiss and then professed attraction to/infatuation with Jane (the kiss caused me to audibly gasp--and I was watching this alone, so it was not a group-inspired reaction), Lavinia's beyond believable sudden decline from "doing well" to near-death, and then death itself--within what had to have been only an hour or less, and suddenly (to me) Mary's flip from "nice" and dutifully kind-at-all-costs to mean and even treacherous...who is she in the end, and is she suffering from schizophrenia? And those three things were just the beginning....my head is spinning and neck is hurting (from the multiple whiplashing).

The Good Wife Review: A New Day (10/2/2011)
I'm more than amazed at all the hysteria over Alicia and Will's sex scene... I agree with Ellen, the big blip in credibility was that this was supposedly "the next day" after Alicia and Will's big night in the hotel room, and she shows up at work the next morning with a new haircut (a bad one too IMHO--the bangs are a mistake)....When in the world did she have time for that??? Maybe the writers thought everyone would be so steamed over the sex that they wouldn't notice...and I guess, judging from the comments here, they were mostly right--except for Ellen and me.
