There is absolutely no Chemistry between them whatsoever. Sure, they talk but their scenes doesn't seem lead to road where a prosperous romance blooms...yet. If they hooked up would make no sense whatsoever, unless there happened to be many episodes of them eventually having to deal with a major issue together. Then it might show they have Chemistry. I feel if they hooked up now, it would be too soon and the storyline would not flow. This reminds me of House where they listened to the viewers pleas to put House and Cuddy together because of the fans' wishes.

I used to wish for something like this in season 1. Now it has finally materialised, and...it is not amazingly exciting. I guess the quote: "It is the journey, not the destination" is relevant here. When all the banter and sexual innuendo built up, it was interesting, compelling and the climax was great. However, maybe I will be proven wrong because I still do enjoy the witty repartee within their relationship.
