  I'm praying for Chair FTW :) And who says they'll not make it very long in season three? I think I read somewhere where SS and JS talked about how they managed to keep Summer and Seth together for most of the O.C. and their relationship was still interesting. JS and SS are very well aware that Chair has a huge huge huge huge HUGE fanbase and that people want to see it happen, and so I'm sure they're smart enough to realize the more Chair, the better! :)

  Well, it wasn't really my thinking (that was someone else's comment from Kristin's spoiler chat), but I do sort of have the same theory. I think that Nate will get mad when he thinks Serena is with Dan, and so he'll sleep with Jenny in revenge. Being Nate's best friend, Chuck covers for it, or something along those lines, and it's all some sort of miscommunication. I'm pretty sure the OMFG moment of this episode is going to be Nate/Jenny sleeping together. I mean, everyone thinks Chuck/Jenny is going to happen, so it's the only logical OMFG moment, really.

  As for Chuck proposing to Blair? I hope that if he asks, she says no. Because then she and Serena can take off for Paris to be with themselves for a little while instead of with boys. And I, for one, think that's fantastic, because as much as I think that Blair belongs with Chuck, I think she needs to be with herself for some time before that can happen, both for the good of the characters and for the good of the show.

  This is really the only logical way to keep Chuck and Blair apart until next season, because it doesn't completely ruin them (of which, despite popular opinion on this site, I'm 99.9999% sure JS and SS are completely aware) AND it makes their relationship stronger at the same time. Sure, that means that Chuck and Blair won't be together, at least not right away, but guess what? This season they were together and nobody was happy. We can blame it on the writing all we want (and it was sort of mediocre), but honestly, the spark was gone. Chuck and Blair were at their best in season 1, and I fully believe they can get that back, but it's going to take a lot of patience and support from the viewers. Which means no freaking out about something that hasn't even happened yet.

  Well, I don't post often, but I've been lurking. I only came in to say that:

   

  1) I'm pretty sure Kristin modified the original post recently so now it doesn't have the part about 'heartbreak for a certain other leading lady' which makes me think that heartbreak isn't for Chair.

  2) Somebody posted this in the comments section at Kristin's post and it honestly makes a lot of sense:

  "Let's talk about the fact that Taylor Momsen isn't coming back to GG very much next year. She's already said that. Savage told us that Chuck/Blair were going to be together this season. This is what's gonna happen, mark my words. Chuck does kiss Jenny. But Jenny doesn't lose it to Chuck, she loses it to Nate. So that takes care of that plot line. Dan punches Chuck because he thinks he slept with Jenny. But Chuck is just covering for Nate. Serena and Dan hook-up. Chuck proposes to Blair. She says yes, and thats the way that Savage keeps them together. Its pretty obvious when you put everything together. It wouldn't be a good promo for a season finale if they just put all the scenes in order. Its gonna be a great finale. (And Little J is finally going to be gone!)"
