I thought it eas extremely well done. I think it was getting to the point they were running out of new, viable reasons to keep them apart. IMO, you stall a storyline enough it can stagnate. Kudos to everyone involved who realuzed that, for coming at it with guns blazing, and for recognizing there is still so much story to be told even after they are together.
Fillion was IMO at his series dramatic best, Katic completely outdid herself, and the whole cast shined.
