I saw that but that isn't what I'm talking about. That was just a few brief seconds that served no real purpose. A few seconds of screen time is not the same as a story centered around Cinderella or whomever. That is what I am talking about.
I like the direction this season is going. What I really like is the writers have gotten away from putting so much focus on Regina, Mary Margaret and co. The writers have put someone else's story in the forefront and they are integrating the main characters into it. I was getting tired of Regina and Rumpelstiltskin ultimately pairing up to fend off some demented character who just happened to be related to them. Ugh! There are so many stories to tell aside from the main characters. What happened to the woman David was married to? What is going on with Cinderella? I always felt the writers dropped the ball with that. Regina, Gold and Snow White obviously aren't the only people in Storybrooke. I hope the writers expand and find interesting ways to integrate the main characters into the lives (stories) of other characters.

I like the inclusion of the Wicked Witch of the West (I guess) vs. The Evil Queen but Rebecca Mader is not right for the part IMO. She just isn't menacing enough. She just seems unhinged and that just isn't coming across as scary to me. Kelly Reilly seems a better fit for this role. She has a haunted quality.
