  I totally agree with you. Ian Somerhalder what a good surprise! He owned his role, in my humble opinion, this character helps to make a better show, I wish producers take care of him.My only BUT, is Stefan and Elena, in my opinion they have not enough chemistry to make them believable as a couple, it lacks something, and that is not gonna to change, no matter what problems they have to face with.

  I voted Damon.

  To be honest Elena and Damon are one of the reasons why I am watching the show, as a couple are way more interesting than Stefan and Elena.

  Prom_queen probably you are right, not many shows surprise me and TVD why should it be different? but part of me have faith in Kevin and Julie and as long as I have it, I will keep watching it.

  I love delena and I always will, I respect all the people that ships different couples and defend them, so I expect the same.

  For me the writers have done an incredible job with Elena and Demon and I hope they will keep doing it in the future.
