I think serena's ulterior motive is that she wants the book to be made into a movie or her boss does, so she sucks up to dan. They may use this as a way to have ds interaction which may or may not lead to them getting closer. We really don't have enough information at this point.

It doesn't matter if she is gonna hookup with this dude. It's obviously a ploy to do db because there is no other reason for them to hookup. Serena will get mad blah blah, all of this is just ploy to extend the official ds reunion to the finale. LMAO.

Dan and Serena ooze chemistry. They proved in 2 episodes that they have 4X the chemistry of any other D and S pairing. I can't wait. I think its good that they are spending time together. As for their parents being married, this is tv people. They did not grow up together. The fact that they used that as an obstacle should be a red flag. It will end up being nothing. As far as Scott, it only bothers people who ship other pairings of D and S. He's a non-issue and RL suck on their own anyway. God knows if that will even last. Even if it does, its a non-issue to DS.
