In the Midnight Hour (11/21/2008)
Now, that was an interesting episode! This whole Denny-Izzie thing is really weird. I get it, Izzie knows it's just her imagination and she is fighting for the ligh.. for her sanity, but what I've really come to hate is that Denny keeps saying 'I'll be here for you' come on! Give her a break!!! She grieved, she was - and she is constantly in pain because she misses her dead fiance, but this - bringing Denny back and that he is staying.. it's torturous for Izzie's character and make the fans uneasy. You wouldn't wish even for your worst enemy or the most hated character of the show to see dead people they loved.. to be constantly haunted by them. Please, end this storyline! What I loved:Of course the Cristina/Owen scenes! They have amazing chemistry together (last episode..breathtaking..)Hunt's attempts to speak to Cristina, while he is waiting for the ambulance is just cute!- Are you here for me?! It was hilarious!! :DOn the whole, it is heart-warming to see Hunt trying to get closer to Cristina. He is obviously damaged and so is she and these two characters are extremly strong (and headstrong may I add) and they've emotionally detached themselves.. but they are trying, and we see the progress right in front of our eyes! For me this episode doesn't just the proof of how far these residents have come as doctors - but as human beings. Derek took Lexie home, Alex is showing strength of character and Mark has a caring and sensitive side. But, Cristina has changed the most.. for the best! She went after Hunt and tried to comfort him after the loss of his patient.. she opened up.. these are major changes! She wouldn't have done those two years ago, that's for sure. But at the same time she is just the same fierce and competitive surgeon. Hmm.. and Hunt, he is not just the Hot Armydoc anymore. :)I really disliked Hahn's character, because she was just coooold. Stone cold. I'm glad she's gone. :D:D Bringing back Burke would be a real twist, don't you think? :D:DCallie's and Bailey's scene was absolutely genius! It had meaning. Sometimes people lose their passion.. even if they are the very best of their profession. It's life.. there are ups and downs and I'm really glad the writers decided to show that as well.
