  I actually have begun watching Grey's anatomy this fall, watching reruns on Lifetime every day.  I am glued to the show.  I can't believe I never watch(ed) the network show when it's current. But I will.    TODAY I watched this episode with McArmy Doc and was enthralled with the spinal freeze procedure.   They touched on it just enough that it left me in tears.  I had heard of the procedure with the Buffalo Bills football player fractured his spine, but it was too late for us.  My son crushed his spine and the freezing of the spine was not done, not mentioned even.  This was 2 years ago.  If I had seen this episode.... or had the knowledge of this spine-saving procedure, I would have had the right doctor take care  of my son and freeze his spine. He remains a quadriplegic.
