Bailey: Not now O'Malley.
George: No, it'll be quick 'cause I gotta get to the OR to scrub in with the Chief. I think you're gonna be mad at first, but I'm about to do something important. And, I'm very sure about this decision. And, I think eventually you're gonna be proud. But you know, before that you're probably gonna be like "What did you do!" I'm... I don't mean to imitate you.
Bailey: You call that quick?
George: I joined the Army to be a trauma surgeon, I report for duty tomorrow.
Bailey: YOU DID WHAT?
George: Yeah, thats where I thought we'd start.
Bailey: Any changes overnight?
Cristina: No.
Bailey: (pager goes off) Somebody had better go make a coffee run, you all look like hell.
George: I've gotta be in surgery in 10 minutes. Um, Mer, will you let me know?
Meredith: Yeah. We should go too. It's probably gonna be a while.
Alex: Shepherd said she'd wake up in the morning. What did he tell you? Was that all crap? What did he say?
Meredith: He said it may be a while.
Cristina: She's gonna wake up.
George: Izzie! You paged me, are you ok?
Izzie: No, I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should have the surgery. I think I'm gonna die either way. You gotta tell me what to do.
George: You know what to do.
Izzie: No I don't. I don't.
George: Yes, you do. You're just scared to do it. This back and forth is just fear. You've already made the decision. You made it. You made it the second you decided to fight this thing. Just look, look where you started. Look where you are now. I mean, now you're this incredible surgeon, and teacher. You're a doer, remember? You know exactly what you have to do.
George: Dr. Hunt.
Owen: What?
George: I just lost another one. All my patients are dieing, I need you to pull me.
Owen: That's for me to decide. There's an ambulance coming, go see what you can do.
George: I'm in over my head.

Lexie: That's Michelle, she dyed her hair for graduation.
George: How's Izzie?
Alex: Good.
George: Is her BP stable? If she's hypotensive she really shouldn't go to the wedding.
Alex: You let me worry about Izzie.

Alex: Anything good?
Callie: Nope. It's slow.
Alex: You don't say it's a slow day in the pit.
George: You never say it's slow! You just jinxed us.
Callie: It's a day, and it's slow.
Alex: Well, when that phone starts ringing with trauma's, you're gonna wish you hadn't said that.
Callie: (laughing) The phones not gonna ring, it's a slow day. (The phone rings) Go for seattle grace emergency.
George: I'll get the trauma gowns.
Callie: CRAP! CRAP CRAP! Incoming!
Meredith: What happened?
George: Hunt is incredible. The guy shouldn't be alive. 17 bullets, he has one lung. He's got one kidney left.
Izzie: YAY! Oh, that's the one!
Bailey: Very dapper Dr. Shepherd.
Derek: You're serious about this? It's not some cruel joke?
Izzie: You look fantastic. He looks fantastic right?
Meredith: Yeah.
Cristina: Whatever.
Alex: Yeah.
George. Yeah.
Alex: Chicken.
George: Good chicken.
Meredith, Cristina: It's chicken.
Izzie: I know it's chicken! I wanna know what it tastes like.
Alex: Tastes like chicken.
Izzie: I'm having surgery today.
Bailey: Maybe, if the meds are strong.
Izzie: I am maybe having surgery today, and as such I cannot taste the chicken for myself. So I really need you guys to tell me what it tastes like. I need to nail down this dinner, so I can announce it on Meredith and Derek's wedding website.
Meredith: There's a website?
Izzie: So, can you please be a little more articulate than just chicken?
Callie: Run! Run for your life!
George: What do you mean run for my life?
(Mr Torres grabs George)
Mark: Woah!
Callie: Oh my god, Dad!
Mr Torres: Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you right now!
Callie: Dad! Stop it!
Mr Torres: You committed adultery.
Callie: Who hasn't? I slept with him, before we were divorced. So, technically George isn't the only one who cheated.
(Mr Torres grabs Mark)

Mr Torres: Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill YOU right now!
Mark: Mark Sloan, pleasure to meet you.
Callie: Ok, so I get why I haven't been camped out at Izzie's beside holding her hand today, but...
George: We're not talking about this.
Callie: Why not?
George: Maybe it's the fact that I asked Izzie a hundred times what was wrong, and she just ignored me. And then there's the fact that when she actually needed help she trusted Cristina. Of all people!
Callie: And then there's the fact that she's your best friend and she might die on you. There's also that. Come on. We are going to go wait for Izzie. Come on. George! You were my husband and you slept with her. You are the reason that I wished her dead. You owe me this. You can lie to yourself all you want, but I know you. I loved you once, and I know you care if she lives or dies.
Meredith: Hey, How's Izzie?
George: I don't know.
Meredith: How's Izzie?
Cristina: Why?
Meredith: Have you been to see her?
Cristina: No I've been working with Swinder all day.
Alex: What?
Meredith: Have you been to see Izzie?
Alex: No, haven't you?
