Nathan: You don't get it, do you? I used to be somebody, Haley, do you understand that? Do you understand what that means? I used to be Nathan Scott, and I was great and I should have walked away okay I know that and I didn't do it, and now I'm nothing. And I have nothing.
Haley: You have nothing? You have a beautiful son who is here. I am here! You've gotta figure out who you're gonna be in this, Nathan. Because this version of you does not work for us. I cannot keep living like this, okay? Do you understand what I'm saying? One more night like this, Nathan, and I promise, you will have nothing!

[throws beer bottles, yells at Nathan] Are you going to say anything or are you just gonna sit there like you have for the past four months? You gonna get drunk, maybe pout, a little cry?

Brooke: So, I have a surprise. You're gonna like it. I made Jamie a little something for his race.
Haley: Okay.
Jamie: Look, mama.
Haley: Oh my goodness. Look at this, this is a real racing suit.
Brooke: Mmm-hmm. And I even made you a sponsor, P. Sawyer.
Peyton: Oh yeah? [looks at Jamie's suit] Oh ... "Peyton Sawyer Unemployed" ... Thank you.
Brooke: You're welcome.

Haley: The rest of your life is a long time and whether you know it or not it's being shaped right now. You can choose to blame your circumstances on fate or bad luck or bad choices or you can fight back. Things aren't always going to be fair in the real world, that's just the way it is but for the most part you get what you give. Let me ask you all a question. What's worse: not getting everything you wished for or getting it but finding out it's not enough? The rest of your life is being shaped right now with the dreams you chase, the choices you make and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time and the rest of your life starts right now.

Nathan: My dad's in prison and so am I.
Haley: Yeah, well you can walk out.

Rachel: (flicks Haley in the back of the head)
Haley: Oww!
Rachel: That was for soaking me at the last party. The bitch slap I deserved.
Haley: (throws drink on Rachel) That was for flicking me in the back of the head.
Rachel: I'm gonna miss this.

Haley: Okay, we'll have fun. I'm just saying maybe I should give Deb one quick call just to check in.
Nathan: Hales, come on. I miss the boy too but we're not going to be those crazy obsessive parents, alright?

My best friend recently reminded me of a quote, by William Shakespeare, that seems appropriate. "There is a tide in the affairs of men, which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound up in sorrows and in miseries. On such a full sea, are we now afloat, and we must take the current when it serves or lose our ventures." I think that what that quote means is that life is short and, opportunities are rare, and we have to be vigilant in protecting them. And, not only the opportunities to succeed but, the opportunity to laugh, to see the enchantment in the world, and...to live, because life doesn't owe us anything. As a matter of fact, I think we owe something to the world. And, if we can just believe.. I'm sorry, I have more, I just, think I'm having my baby.

Haley

Lucas Scott, will you go to prom with me?

Peyton

Haley: Tell me a secret.
Nathan: Risky, okay. For the past few months I've been pretty freaked out about being a dad, but lately I... I know it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be great actually.
Haley: You are so sexy when you talk like that.

Chris Keller: You're looking a little plump, Hales. What the hell, I've had bigger trunk in my bunk.
Haley: I'm pregnant, you idiot!
Chris: Oh. Dude! Totally not mine!

Lucas: I don't know, it's all electronic I can't figure it out.
Brooke: Sorry.
Lucas: But I do know, we should've stuck to the interstate and not taken the back road just so Haley could see this sandwich shaped like Elvis.
Haley: Hey!

One Tree Hill Quotes

I found my other half.

Julian

Jerry: Dude, were you really just plunging toilets?
Mouth: Yeah, we really gotta stop serving tamales at happy hour.
Jerry: You know how guys are, huh?
Mouth: It was the girls' bathroom.
