Voight: Hey friends. I'm aware of your sidearms. I have one of my own.
Syrian: We're diplomatic protection with a legal right to bear arms in this country.
Voight: Not today. I'm going to take your weapons from you. This isn't a question. If you do anything that makes me the least bit uncomfortable, I will end you. Do you understand?

Severide: Damn Dawson, you look like hell!
Dawson: (laughs) I'm not 100% sure I'm not dreaming.

Mills: Cover your ears!
Cruz: You serious?!

Boden: OK. It's 8:29. This thing is set to go...
Mills: Chief. Respectfully -- shut up.

He's not in bad shape. He's dead.

Dr. Arata

Dr. Arata: Your niece has a crushed liver. If she doesn't have immediate surgery, she's going to bleed out. Do you have the authority to give consent?
Burgess: Consent? I don't know...
Dr. Arata: That's good enough for me.

Hermann: Yeah? He's sayin' that we made Jones suicidal and I'm supposed to swallow that?
Mills: No! Just own up to your own behavior and admit that you could have handled things better!
Hermann: How dare you! I was the last one to see her alive. You think that I didn't wonder -- over and over again -- what I might have done different? What else I might have said that would have changed her mind?!

I was trying to protect her. I didn't think she could handle the stress of the job. I was only trying to protect her. Instead...

Chief Jones

Boden: You left Henry Mills to find his own way. As I recall, he never found it.
Chaplain: Wallace, you've been holding that against me for a long time.
Boden: He was trying to repair a broken marriage. He needed someone to lean on. It couldn't be me for obvious reasons, which is why I asked you to talk to him.
Chaplain: And I had every intention of doing so...
Boden: If he hadn't of walked into that fire carrying so much anger, he just might have walked back out again.

Boden: Here's the thing. I run into burning buildings for a living, but I run away from relationships. And I guess I just, I got scared, Donna. And now, you were the best thing that happened to me...
Donna: I can't get into this right now.

I just want to know how a girl as tough as Jones could let her father push her to the breaking point.

Dawson

When Jones first arrived at 51, I made it clear that I wasn't someone she that could come to for help. I thought she needed a little tough love.
