Isabelle hasn't completely forgiven Elizabeth for not believing in her, but in light of Juliet's betrayal is a bit more understanding. Juliet claims her actions are for a righteous cause. A member of the press questions Daisy as to why the Turkish governement refuses to release the body of an American tourist. She doesn't realize that the "tourist" was an American agent killed in a botched operation. Elizabeth meets with Chief of Staff Jackson and CIA Director Munsey to discuss the op. She suggests they tell Turkey the truth but Jackson sides with Munsey and orders them disavow any knowledge of a CIA operation. Turkey releases a video of the attack, which causes an immediate uproar. Daisy is upset that she has to feed misinformation to the press. President Dalton wants the story to disappear now, and Elizabeth offers to go to Turkey to convince them to recant. Isabelle tells Elizabeth about the laptop that was found with Mahdavi. She tries to strike a deal to get access to the laptop, but the Iranian government also wants it. Elizabeth is shocked to learn that Mahdavi was a US asset. Who was Mahdavi's handler?
