When Melody finds out from Lily about the sexual assault on Bay she immediately opens up an investigation. Bay doesn't want to take part in it and tries to convince Melody to stop the investigation, but since it happened on school property and in her department she has no other choice but to start to investigate the allegations. Since the investigation is happening Bay has to make the decision to tell Emmett and when she does, she doesn't mention the sexual assault and he becomes angry thinking she cheated on her with Tank. Daphne offers to go and see Emmett and tell him about what happend. Meanwhile, Regina and Kathryn try everything to help out Bay, but she doesn't want to talk about it. Kathryn than decides to tell Bay about a situation that happened when she was 17 and a friends brother touched her inappropriately, but she never said anything because they did not have sex and she felt like she did not matter. Upon hearing this story Bay decides to comply with the investigation and she tells them her side of the story; she doesn't feel it is right to just punish Tank when she is just as in the wrong since she drank too much. In the end, after Bay says she did feel wrong about what he did to her, Tank is expelled from school.
