Recap

Johnny shows up at the diner looking for Max, and Caroline convinces her that he must be there because he's finally broken up with his girlfriend. When he turns out to just want to be friends, Max struggles to remain friends. This is made harder by Johnny showing up in Max's apartment and kissing her. Meanwhile, Cashandra hires the duo, upon Johnny's rave reviews, to cater an art gallery event. At the event Max and Johnny kiss again, Cashandra makes veiled threats, and Johnny's billboard painting kiss of the him and Max are on display. In the end, they eat the rest of the cupcakes or shove it down their dresses, and walk away with the billboard painting. Max breaks the painting with a little help from Caroline after.
