Recap

Caroline makes a big boo-boo in the kitchen trying to learn how to bake, leading to a broken electric mixer. While at a store with mixers they can't afford, save for a spoon, Caroline sees Santa World hiring elves. Her enthusiasm persuades Max to apply and earn extra money for the electric mixer, with an employee discount. They both get hired but after some Mexican energy drink and news from Caroline's dad that he doesn't want her see him in prison, crashes Caroline's spirit. She ends up ranting and raving in front of the children, and they are both fired. But at least they got a cheap mixer to take home, the spoon.
