Max, Caroline and Deke show up at the pastry school to discover that it's being closed down. So Deke comes up with the brilliant plan to buy it, which means that Max and Caroline have to meet his parents. Max is beyond nervous at first but when she discovers that Deke's mother is just a girl from the Bronx, a former stripper no less, that married money, she gets a lot more comfortable.

Things deteriorate quickly when words gets out at the dinner party that Caroline's dad was an embezzler. Max opens her mouth to defend Caroline, but ends up also outing Deke's mom as a stripper and everything goes downhill from there. Finally, Deke is forced to choose Max or his money but when Max finds out he chose her, she hatches a plan to return him home where she feels he belongs
