Liz plays a lottery card game with the workers at 30 Rock. She wins the game and decides to buy drinks for the crew with it, and wins them over. It reminds her of her first two weeks of college when the kids still liked her. After giving one crew member her grandfather's watch, she gives up and comes down on them hard, embracing the hatred.
The writers find out Jack is the voice of an online dictionary. They use it to prank call Pete and he buys it. He admits to wanting to be friends with Jack and does some freestyle rapping. The writers get him to go up to Jack's room with beers and a guitar.
The microwave division does really well this quarter so Jack wants to make sure they know he was the reason for the success. When he gets there, they don't seem to think he had anything to do with it, so he sets out to prove them wrong. Once he himself is proven wrong, he gives up and heads back to his office where he finds Pete. After a rough day, Jack's happy to hang out with Pete.
