This CW drams set the stage for next week's finale with an episode that many viewers have labeled as "boring." What did you think of "Javianna?"

Help Ade pick already: Javier or Navid?
M.L. House: Navid. For once, it would be nice to see the average Joe get the girl over the dreamy, talented musician. It would be like The Barnacle dating Jessica Simpson instead of John Mayer. Who wouldn't want to see that?!?
Dr. Shepherd: Neither. Adrianna has to be by herself for a bit. She's always relied on drugs or alcohol or men. Just take a break, Ade. Work on you for awhile.
The Barnacle: Navid may have put her through rehab and has always been there for her, but hello: money, fame and looks? Sorry, Navid. I'm ready to switch teams and run away with Javier if Ade doesn't.
Two Affair to Remember references on the CW in one week, who did it better: Gossip Girl's Chuck or 90210's Navid?
M.L. House: Sorry, but the answer to any question pitting these shows against each other will always be: Gossip Girl.
Dr. Shepherd: What the heck is Affair to Remember?!? These shows are aimed at a young demographic. Can we get some references that reflect that please?
The Barnacle: Definitely 90210. Gossip Girl was too cheesy by having Blair state the obvious reference out loud and Chuck had things way too easy by being near the actual Empire State Building. Navid had the creativity to use the snow globe. Navid: 1, Chuck: 0.
With 90210's second season finale coming up next week, this week's installment was tasked with setting up some serious drama to unfold next week. So did "Javianna" do what it set out to do? We'll go over each story line and give on our opinion:
Naomi's "Breakdown"
Well despite being hyped as a breakdown in previews, Naomi just kind of got annoyed over Jen's budgeting of her money. The only real result from this storyline? Jen's pregnant. Wow. We would have much preferred if it was a main character, but hopefully Ryan is at least the baby daddy and a source of drama next week.
Navid / Adrianna / Javier Pop-Love Triangle
No offense, Navid, but we have no idea why Adrianna is going to choose you over Javier. That guy pretty much has it all. Yet for some reason, we all know Ade and Navid are going to end up together, so we can't help but not really care going into the season finale.
Sixon
All of Dixon's gambling problems led to some marriage tension between Harry and Deb as he attempted to keep it a secret from her until this week. Big deal. No one cares about the old people. So let's focus on Dixon and Ivy's fight over Dixon joining her in Australia. The fight? Legit. Was it exciting? No. But did it lead to the best drama of the hour as Sixon kissed in the broom closet? Oh hells yeah. Finally something we're looking forward to next week.
Annie and Her Stalker
Jasper decided to make an annoying return this week, but finally it all feels like it was for something. While Annie and Liam were working on a paper, he pulled up the confession she wrote weeks ago. While he may not have seen the whole thing, he definitely got to see her flip out. With the season finale coming up next week, clearly this is going to be one of the strongest storylines.
Overall, we were a little disappointed how little drama has been set up next week, but we've heard such good things about the finale, we're still excited. Most 90210 spoilers seems to indicate the finale all belongs to Naomi, so we're even more curious given the developments of this episode.

The episode is titled "Confessions" and AnnaLynne McCord has hyped an event from it would as "the worst thing in the world" for Naomi. That's quite the tease.

Welcome to this week's edition of 90210 Round Table!
The show aired another slow-moving episode yesterday, moving various characters and pieces into place for what we hope will be an explosive season finale.
But we're not done with "Meet the Parent" just yet. Below, our staff picks apart a handful of developments from the latest installment...
Teddy loves Silver. Do you care?
M.L. House: NO! These two have negative chemistry together and Teddy uttered the cheesiest, most cliched line ever before saying he had fallen for Silver. His tennis victory wasn't complete because she wasn't there? Gee, where have we heard that before?
Dr. Shepherd: Not even a tiny bit. Have these two even gotten to second base? It feels like they've received about six minutes of screen time and now the show expects us to melt because Teddy said the "L" word.
The Barnacle: Sure. Silver went through a lot at the end of last season. It's nice to see her happy and stable with a man - and I mean a man - who loves her.
Does Ryan need an intervention?
M.L. House: No way! His scene with Adrianna and Navid on the pier was the funniest 90210 has been all season. Get this man more drugs, not fewer.
Dr. Shepherd: Not yet. Let the guy wallow in some alcohol for a bit, will ya? Think of how you'd react if someone such as Jen returned to your life.
The Barnacle: Forget an intervention. Here's what Ryan needs: a trip over to the Wilsons to get Deb on the rebound. Wouldn't these two make a great couple?
While there may not be a lot actually happening on 90210 (read our weekly review for more), there's a lot happening behind 90210.
In other words, this week's episode featured yet another set of great singles, one of which was even sung by actress Jessica Lowndes and guest star Diego Boneta.

In other words, viewers should expect to see a lot of Latin pop star Diego Boneta and his character's burgeoning relationship with Adrianna. The former was introduced last night as Javier, during an episode with which many fans don't seem pleased.
