90210 Sneak Peek: "What's Past is Prologue"

From the looks of it, next week's episode of 90210, "What's Past is Prologue," is going to be all about Teddy and Silver.  So can Silver handle dating a former player?

Well from the looks of the clip we got our hands on, not likely.  When Silver gets jealous of an email of Teddy's she reads, she enlists Naomi's help in spying on Teddy.

Watch below because you'll never guess who they bring in as their third member for the spy mission:

90210 Music from "Girl Fight"

What would Naomi and Ivy's "Girl Fight" have been without some great music to roll around in the sand in have been?  Yeah, pretty boring.  Okay, I guess it still could have worked.  Nothing can ruin a good old fashioned cat fight.

Picnic Packer

Either way, if you're anything like us, you love getting exposed to the diverse 90210 music each week, so we'll do our best to help you guys out.

We've gone ahead and put together the most complete list of songs played during the hour, including lyrics and links to the iTunes store.  Just click on your favorite songs below to complete your music collection:

90210 Review: "Girl Fight"

After last week set up this week's episode, "Girl Fight," with so many exciting twists and turns, we were pretty excited for all the drama this week.  So did the episode live up to that hype?

While some of the stories were obviously jucier than others, we're going to go with yes.  First we have to discuss the main storyline from which the episode gets its name: Naomi and Ivy's cat fight.

Beach Enemies

It was so good to have the bitch back after watching Naomi painfully try to talk about canoes with Liam, while Ivy popped in all flirty.  Showing up in a bikini with a picnic to crash Ivy and Liam's surf practice?  Genius.

Even more genius?  The writer, who decided that when Naomi was in a bikini would be when they got into a cat fight.  HOT.

Even hotter?  Watching Naomi and Liam rekindle things after Naomi's display of "balls."  Hey, those are much more Liam's words than ours.  While the love triangle was fun, we're big fan of these two's chemistry and would rather see them together.

In other love triangle news, Dixon's lies to Silver about Teddy and Savannah finally came crashing down last night.  Sorry Sixon fans out there, we're glad they did.  The couple might have been cute first season, but we're so over them.

We're definitely curious to see how things go with Silver and Teddy next week, but even more excited to see  what develops from Dixon's birth mother showing up at the end!  Is it next week yet?

90210 Round Table: "Rats & Heroes"

Welcome to this return edition of the 90210 Round Table!

Like the show itself, we're back with our latest take on the most recent episode of 90210. What did you think of "Rats & Heroes?" Did it satisfy your craving for Naomi, Adrianna and company? Or did it leave you wanting more?

Below, our staff comments on a number of developments and asks for reader feedback. Check out the 90210 music heard this week and comment on the following topics...

React to the Adrianna/Gia relationship.
M.L. House: I'm glad it's not an actual relationship yet. I was afraid the show would have these two make out and be an item right away, as advertised. But at least the first kiss was done more as a favor on Adrianna's part and maybe they'll give these two time to actually develop.

Dr. Shepherd: The producers can say whatever they want, but this is a ratings stunt, plain and simple. I'm sorry, but straight high school girls don't suddenly develop feelings for the same sex simply because a girl can relate to their situation. It's insulting to gay people.

The Barnacle: How do I feel about two girls kissing? Just fine, thank you!

90210 RT, Take 2

Who is your favorite couple on the show?
M.L. House: Liam and Naomi. Without getting too personal, I can actually relate to them. Who out there has not come across somebody with whom you can't hold a conversation, but with whom you can hold up against the wall and... you get the idea.

Dr. Shepherd: Annie and Jasper. Simply because they're the most interesting. I wish the show had revealed Jasper's truly creepy, blackmailing side earlier, but I like him as a shady character.

The Barnacle: I actually dig Harry and Debbie. They're fun-loving and seemingly still into each other, even after all this time. Then again, will Debbie's yoga teacher soon be into her... literally?

90210 Review: "Rats & Heroes"

Welcome back from winter break, 90210 fans: Where did you spend the holidays?

We're just kidding... but it was a little weird to have the students returning from Las Vegas, St. Bart's and other winter vacations, wasn't it? That aside, the episode "Rats & Heroes" set the stage nicely for the second half of season two.

Let's start with the storyline that has received all the buzz leading up to this return installment: Gia and Adrianna. This sudden closeness feels forced, but at least the kiss between the gals had an ulterior motive:

Adrianna wanted to help Gia make her ex jealous. We can buy that. It's far more preferable than having these two actually develop feelings for one another so quickly, although we all know that's where this is going.

Still, can we take our readers' pulse: what did you all think about this sudden bond? Would Adrianna really have called Gia in such a panic because she had a sip of rum? Drugs, not alcohol, was always her problem.

Burgeoning Relationship

Annie, meanwhile, has a problem of his own - and his name is Jasper.

It's taken a long time for this storyline to get going, and it's a little strange to trace it back and make sense out of Jasper's thinking (Did he always plan on blackmailing Annie? Did he actually fall for her and this was a last-minute threat to save the relationship? It seems like the writers themselves didn't figure it out until the last moment.)

But Zachary Ray Sherman has done a great, creepy job with Jasper and we can certainly sympathize with Annie when the episode concludes. The development would have been more effective if it took place sooner, though.

We're sorry to say, but we stopped caring about Annie a long time ago.

Michael Steger to TV Fanatic: Did Navid Make Adrianna Gay?

For the second time in the last year, 90210 star Michael Steger has been kind enough to sit down with TV Fanatic.

Following our latest interview with the actor, we have a better idea of what's ahead when this CW hit returns tomorrow night. We'd like to thank Michael for his time and to excerpt some of our conversation with him below...

TV Fanatic: The has been off the air for three months. Is there any fear on how this might affect ratings or viewship?
Michael Steger: Not really. I was glad we waited until after American Idol had premiered. It was almost a necessary thing as a result of that, and I took it as a nice break.

TV Fanatic: Where are you with filming?
Steger: We recently finished the finale. It took eleven days.

TV Fanatic: What can you tell us about it?
Steger: There are some pyrotechnics involved. A lot goes down and we learn who killed Jasper's uncle.

TV Fanatic: Any 90210 spoilers you can reveal?
Steger: Navid starts a relationship with Lila, one of the reporters on The Blaze News.

Navid and Lila

TV Fanatic: How does Navid react to Adrianna's new, same-sex relationship?
Steger: He blames himself at first. He wonders: Did I make her gay? When Navid sees Adrianna with Gia, a reporter on The Blaze, he's stunned by the entire picture.

TV Fanatic: How has Navid changed since he was first introduced to viewers:
Steger: At first, he didn't know what he was made of. It took a girl like Adrianna to bring it out of him. Navid learned a lot about himself through that relationship and it helped him grow into manhood. It was more self-worth now, more of a backbone.

TV Fanatic: Rob Estes is leaving after this season. What's it been like to work with him?
Steger: It's been one of the highlights of the show for me. He's cool, talented, a great guy. I', confidence he'll come back at some point.
