-The S.H.I.E.L.D team is called upon when a volunteer fire fighter is found dead and floating several feet about the ground due to an electrostatic field.   When two more fire fighters die, the team realizes they were infected by an Chitauri alien helmet they brought back from the invasion of NYC as a souvenir.

-Simmons is infected with the same virus and Fitz and she struggle to come up with an anti-virus while on the plane over the Atlantic. When she thinks her death will destroy them all, Simmons jumps from the plane without knowing that Fitz as made the anti-serum.

-Ward jumps from the plane with a parachute and saves Simmons.

-Coulson worries that he's different since he "died" and gets a full physical which comes back fine. May tells him that the trauma of the experience has changed him.
