She questions him fairly aggressively. He doesn't appreciate it at all. Agent May warns him that keeping Skye in the dark won't end well. This leads her to Ward, who shares that once Garrett began etching the alien writing it drove him insane. Curiously Skye didn't have a negative reaction to the GH formula. Does this mean she's an alien? HYDRA had given Raina 48 hours to return the obelisk to them. The problem is Skye's father is in possession of it and refuses to turn it over. Meanwhile, at HYDRA headquarters Simmons is questioned about the failed test. Surprisingly, Whitehall knows her by name. His ultimate goal is to weaponize the obelisk. Simmons is horrified by the thought HYDRA could potentially kill millions with this tech. It isn't long before HYDRA learns they have a mole in their midst. Enter Bobbi Morse, Security Chief for the organization. The woman quickly singles Simmons out. Luckily her S.H.I.E.L.D. flex screen was safely planted in her lab partners desk. He's taken away for questioning. After being rejected by Skye's father, Raina turns to Coulson. She threatens to blow Simmons' cover at HYDRA unless he turns Skye over. Coulson declines and Raina transmits a damning photo of Simmons holding S.H.I.E.L.D. tech. Naturally, Simmons makes a run for it and soon learns Bobbie Morse is also a double agent sent in to watch over her. The duo is extracted via a cloaked Quinn Jet and rushed to safety. Fitz-Simmons are finally reunited and take the first step in rebuilding their relationship. During Coulson's meeting with Raina, Skye learns the whereabouts of her father and set out to find him. Unfortunately, when she arrives the man had already cleared out. The dead bodies in the room paint a horrible picture and Skye vows to take her father down. The Doc had been watching all this via hidden camera. Now that Skye thinks him a monster, he aligns himself with HYDRA to destroy Coulson and his team. Skye asks Coulson for complete transparency and he agrees. He shows her his alien carvings on the wall which still mean nothing to him. It's a map Skye tells him. Perhaps she is an alien after all?
