We meet Ben and Vivan Harmon on the premiere of American Horror Story, a couple that moves from Boston to Los Angeles with their daughter in order to start fresh after a few major personal issues.

But the home into which they move is haunted, as evidenced by some strange happenings in the basement, a really creepy neighbor with a daughter who tells everyone "You're gonna die in there," in reference to the house; and a burn victim who warns Ben to get as far away from the residence as possible.
