One contestant stood out from all others during America Idol's trek to Jacksonville. She's the last one listed below, as we highlight for of the singers that advanced to Hollywood:

Julissa Veloz: A beauty pageant contestant, wore a sash during her audition. Sang "If I Don't Have You" by Whitney Houston. Age 19.

Jasmine Murray: Hgh school student, talked a lot about her four siblings and supportive family. Sang "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie. Age 16.

T.K. Hash: Tried out for season seven of the show. Sang "Imagine" by John Lennon. Age 23.

Anne Marie Boskovich: Sang God Bless America prior to 2003 NBA All-Star Game. Has a song on the Little Mermaid sequel soundtrack. Impressed  judges with rendition of "Bubbly" by Colbie Callait.
