Prince Khufu and Princess Chay-Ara are shown in Egypt. Yep. Vandal Savage is back there with them at the beginning. Kendra's memory is returning on the way to the secret location aka farmhouse that won't be compromised like both team's lairs, but she doesn't admit that to Carter.

Jabs are made about the insecurity of both teams lairs. Carter says he and Kendra are the only two reincarnated nutballs, Savage is merely immortal. The geeks are going to try to figure out a way to mask the powers of the staff. Oliver suggests Kendra try to figure out how to use her new ability, because it might come in handy.

Felicity tries to get talk to Oliver, and he admits there is something going on, but he doesn't want to talk about it until he has a better grasp of what it is.

Meanwhile, Kendra thinks she and Cisco should talk, too. Never in the history of romance have those words meant anything good. Cisco suggests they don't talk because it's not a good idea to talk right now. She shouldn't be distracted. Up comes Carter with a trunk of stuff they need to track down in each of their past lives. It contains their masks. He speaks to her in Egyptian and she replies. She reminds him Savage said she's a priestess. Carter reminds her that if she doesn't start remembering, they'll probably die.

Oliver is at the home of his ex-girlfriend. She stops him. She says her son, William, is not his son. She met his father two months after they moved to Central City. Oliver doesn't believe her. He touched his hat and took a hair for a DNA test. 

Malcolm calls Oliver. He has arranged a meeting with Vandal Savage. He says negotiation is the only way out of this. If his child were here, he'd understand. Oh Malcolm. Shut the hell up. Barry wonders how Malcolm knows so much about Savage anyway. Malcolm assures him he knows nothing and that's why he's so scared.

The only way Savage is immortal is to take the life force from Kendra and Carter. Oliver decides they will not give the duo over to Savage.

Barry is worried. He thinks he's going to time travel because he ghosted. Cisco says not to panic, because if he knows about it, then he might not do it, but merely talking about it might change the outcome. Or something. They're both confused, and if they're confused, you can imagine how confused I am trying to follow along!

Kendra is wondering if they've ever committed suicide in the past. If Savage needs to kill them to live forever, wouldn't that stop the whole thing? Carter thinks he should keep making the plans. Carter tries to train her a little to find the warrior within. 

Laurel, Thea and Diggle come back with a betamax from some conspiracy theorists. Dr. Aldus Boardman is on it. He says he thinks the way to kill Savage is with an artifact in Savage's possession -- or something -- which Kendra believes is the staff.

Barry has completed the DNA test. Oliver knows he's a father. As soon as Oliver steps out of the room, Felicity walks in. Felicity is caught with the test. Somehow Felicity saw him super speed something into his pocket.

Oliver goes to Samantha's and confronts her. She has to tell him about Moira. Inside, she shows him the check from Moira. She refuses to tell William that Oliver is his father. She tells him that if she wants to have a relationship with his son, then he will not tell anyone, even Felicity, he's William's father.

Felicity is waiting for Oliver when he gets back. She's angry about the secrets. She can't believe he has a child, let alone one he didn't tell her about. He doesn't trust her. He never will. How can she be with someone who doesn't trust her? She's a little over dramatic. 

Oliver goes into the house. The plan is he won't risk anymore lives than absolutely necessary. Just him, Barry and the Hawks. Everything goes wrong. Kendra cannot use her hawk wings. Savage kills Kendra. Barry tries to use the staff, but it doesn't work. Oliver and Barry are holding it and Barry tells Barry to run. Savage pounds his staff and destroys the world. Everyone burns alive.

Barry reverses time to the first meeting with Malcolm and Oliver. He knows it doesn't work. Barry lets him know that one of the reasons things go wrong is because Oliver's head isn't in the game. He asks Oliver if he plans on giving him a hair sample any time soon. So the way Oliver learns he's William's father is a little bit different. He also learns that however it went down ended things with Felicity. He has some time to prepare without needing to prepare.

This time, Oliver asks Cisco to double check the staff gloves. He also asks him to check in with Kendra because someone needs to reach her, and who better than someone who clearly loves her?

Cisco doesn't think focusing on the warrior is the is the right angle. Focusing on the nurturer is the better path. She doesn't want to accept she's a reincarnated warrior priestess. It's a miracle that most people don't get to experience, so she should embrace it. He helps her to remember. 

Kendra remembers a time when Vandal Savage interrupted the lovers in their bed chamber, apparently their first time to die in Egypt, when the sky rocks came. She saw what it was, the combination of artifacts, a knife blade and the top of the staff, that will kill him. 

This time, Oliver counts on his team and asks them to suit up to help him. Together, they all turn Vandal Savage to ash. 

It's their first time defeating Savage and the hawks are going to leave so they can help people. Kendra needs a moment to say goodbye to Cisco. He's made her something with a micro GPS chip. She kisses him goodbye. 

Barry needs to talk to Oliver about William. This time when Oliver goes to see Samantha, he tells her the same thing. He will not tell Felicity. He goes to play with William in his room. They play action figures. Oliver is Captain Cold.

Back home, Felicity still wants to know what's up with Oliver. He tells her it doesn't matter. It's over and he's back in STAR City with her. Uh oh.

While Vandal Savage was probably dead dead, for some reason everyone left his ashes in a heap in the middle of the warehouse and Malcolm Merlyn put some into a coffee tin. Uh oh.
