... Their efforts bring Noah back to the farm and to Luke (Van Hansis). Trying to please her, Jack gets down on one knee and asks Carly to marry him again. She asks him not to do this if it's due to her illness but Jack claims it opened his eyes to reality. Carly then accepts his proposal...

... When the kids return home with "Uncle Brad," they're thrilled to hear Carly's news though Brad rolls his eyes and later tells Carly that Jack doesn't even know what hit him. Carly insists they're in love so Brad urges her to tell Jack the truth...

... Parker hints to Carly that this is weird but then backs off for Sage's sake. While Carly and Brad argue about how Jack will react to her lies, Jack tells an upset Margo that he's marrying Carly. Chris suggests they move in together. Emily claims it would be bad for their fling...

... He accuses her of being afraid of getting hurt again but then accepts her decision, telling her that she calls the shots. When they visit with their respective parents, Emily finds Susan asking how Dusty is while Bob again hints to Chris that he's ready to hire him at the hospital. Chris says he'd rather work in research...

... Emily runs into Dusty who kisses her. He stops just before Chris finds them together. Emily tells her lover at that point that she wants to live with him...
