Today on As the World Turns ...

Rick demands that Margo okay the release of the helicopter or he'll shoot Casey. When Aaron drops down from the ventilation shaft, Rick shoots him and then forces Margo to do as he says.

To insure he escapes, Rick grabs a weak Alison and takes her hostage as he drags her through the halls the parking lot. Bob finds Susan lying on the floor and realizes that Rick injected her with the poison.

Chris hands his father the antidote and then runs to save Alison.

With Paul's help, Meg treats Aaron and then starts inoculating everyone with the serum Chris created. Later, he and Meg promise to spend the rest of their lives together.

Margo assures Tom that he and Casey will be fine.

She advises Casey and Emily that Tom is in surgery having his stint replaced and that he actually did not suffer a heart attack.

Chris confronts Rick at the helicopter and manages to knock the gun away from him and then punches him to the ground.

Chris carries Alison back into the hospital where he works frantically to save her life.

A nurse informs him that they ran out of the serum he created because Susan needed a double dose so Chris rushes to the lab to make some more.

Alison has a vision of riding off with Aaron on his motorcycle and ending up at a club where Chris plays the piano for a singing Susan and Emily. Alison wakes and finds Chris staring at her.

Chris advises her that she'll be fine but she asks what happened to Aaron. He hesitates and then reports that he'll be fine.

Alison is there when Aaron wakes. Casey thanks her mother for her support but admits he wouldn't know what to do if he had lost Emily. Hearing that Tom's surgery was successful, Margo goes to see him but warmly sends Emily in to see her husband.

Paul invites Emma to accompany them to Fairwinds to spend time with Meg.
