Recap

... As the World Turns ...

... Refusing to accept J.J.'s lucky rabbit's foot, Parker tells Holden, Emma and the others that he's going to prison after today's trial. Upset to hear Jack and Carly won't be in court today, Parker runs out of the farmhouse only to be stopped by Paul who convinces him to accept the support he has...

... After Meg encourages him to be in court to help Parker, Holden questions Meg who insists she's doing this for Parker's sake. When Noah offers to accompany Luke to court, Ameera insists on going with them. Jack decides to go to Chicago with Carly to find the homeless woman who may be able to help clear Parker...

... Once there, Carly finds the woman. Boasting that Kit was her friend, Ruby warns that she doesn't like to speak "ill of the dead" but then, admitting she lost her own son, explains that Kit told her she shot Sam. They convince her to come to Oakdale to testify but worry they're going to be too late. Brad accompanies Katie to the courtroom where Tom warns Holden that Judge Rice wants this case wrapped up by the end of the day...

... Parker takes the stand and claims he had a feeling that Sam was going to hurt his mother. When Tom forces Parker to admit that he saw Sam trying to rape his mother, Ameera is distressed and runs out of the courtroom. She relates to Noah that she remembers all the men who raped in Iraq and got away with the crime...

... Thinking back to that night at Metro, Parker finally remembers he only pulled the trigger once. The prosecuting attorney points out that this contradicts his statement to the police. After their closing arguments, the judge returns with a guilty verdict. Jack and Carly enter with Ruby whose testimony convinces the judge to change his verdict to not guilty...
