After her flight from the islands, Katie (Terri Colombino) is sitting next to Attorney Hotchkiss who boasts of a recent medical malpractice case he just settled involving a divorced blond with three kids. Katie rushes to the hospital and convinces one of the nurses to hand over Carly's file where she reads that she's not dying...

... Rosanna's operative follows Meg to the hospital and overhears her asking for a paternity test. He calls Rosanna with the news while Meg is asked to get samples from any possible "donors." She takes some of Craig's hair from his brush and then convinces her husband to let her attend the wedding by herself...

... Lily is stunned to hear Carly boast of her plans to marry Jack today and urges her to tell him the truth first. Threatening her, Carly demands Lily not tell anyone the truth and insists she will soon tell her family she's going to live. Will assures Parker that Hal wouldn't mind if he changed his name when Jack adopted him...

... After getting a lecture from Emma about being supportive on Jack's wedding day, Brad warns Jack that Katie is on her way back to Oakdale and deserves a call to warn her. Holden finds Jack outside the farmhouse thinking about his failed marriage to Katie. Brad advises Carly that he will not be at the wedding...

... Katie confronts Brad and admits she knows Carly's been lying and now she intends to tell Jack. Later, Brad tells Emma he's leaving town and she will understand why soon. As Katie secretly watches, Carly asks Jack if he really wants to marry her. Meg tells Paul that she's having a paternity test done ...
