At the police station, Cat treats the Liam case a normal investigation, but Tess isn't sure about the way she's going about it. Tess tries to reason with Cat that sending normal people after Liam doesn't make sense because they know he can't be taken down without the help of a beast. Cat explains to Tess if they continue to cover things up it will make her look like a incompetent police captain and going after Liam, through the official channels, is the way they need to go. Tess goes along with Cat's plan, but things take a turn for the worse when they realize Liam is going after people who had the serum in their blood. Unfortunately, Cat still doesn't see Liam as a threat until Vincent figures out Liam is going after every single person who had the serum in their blood, even if they were "cured." Once Tess and Cat hear this development they immediately go to JT's place to try to protect him. At JT's place, some hit men broke in to try to kill JT for his blood, but Vincent is able to make a surprise attack with Tess and Cat shooting the last person. In the end, Cat realizes she can't give up because she needs to protect the people in her life.
