-A botched bank robbery becomes a hostage situation when a customer is shot.
-Danny is the lead detective on the case. Jackie listens in on the calls with the hostage negotiator and realizes that the robber uses cop jargon.
-A tattoo caught on camera leads Frank to suspect a cop he worked with in the past.
-Billy Flood was a cop who was caught drinking and driving on the job and was fired. Now he is robbing a bank to try and save his little girl or needs a heart transplant he can't afford.
-Despite protocol, Danny enters the bank to talk to Billy Billy lets the injured man go but tries to kill himself. Danny stops him and arrests him.
-The local church takes in donations for the girl's surgery.
-The press bashes Frank for allowing his son to go rogue, accusing him of encouraging the practice.
-Linda is angry with Danny for putting himself in danger as she had to watch the entire scene on TV and she was terrified.
