-When a man is shot and killed in a diner, the owner disappears and a witness sees a cop flee the scene.

-The cop is Mike, an Auxiliary Police Officer. He shot the armed man in diner, panicked and fled. The missing owner is his Uncle Connie.

-Danny and Jackie investigate.  Uncle Connie's house is ransacked and they find a crate of stolen guns his storage unit.

-Mike helps Danny find Connie who is angry Mike is talking to the police. Connie let's Mike take the fall for the shooting. Danny prompts Mike to think like a cop.

-Mike gives the police information that leads to proving his uncle was trafficking stolen guns. Danny tells him to take the police exam again.  If he passes, Danny will be looking out for him.

-Jamie has trouble making ends meet with his law school loans.  He takes a job helping Renzulli paint houses on his day off.

-The Mayor's office wants to use 9/11 as a marketing tool for recruiting. Frank is against it. He convinces their PR rep that the personal stories of the NYPD are more persuasive.
