Nucky heads to Tampa, Florida to investigate a land deal. When a chance encounter with a young land salesman puts Nucky off the deal, his friend Bill McCoy has to take matters into his own hands. Dr. Narcisse and Arnold Rothstein meet in Harlem to discuss heroin. Later Narcisse introduces Chalky to his club's new act. Gillian helps Roy Phillips by pretending to be his wife in front of a business associate, but the night goes south when her past rears its head. Eli's son tries to impress his college friends by getting some whiskey, but has a run in with Mickey Doyle. Carl Billings, the man Richard met on the train, shows up to settle a score.
