Recap

On Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 Episode 22, Jake, Captain Holt and Charles are in pursuit of the Fulton Street Four, a notorious robbery crew that stole $21 million that was never found.  As members of the gang are being found murdered, the case quickly becomes high-profile, and the 99 is given free rein by Chief Madeleine Wuntch, Captain Holt's nemesis.

They are allowed to use any and all resources they need to find the killer and the money, but Captain Holt remains wary that Wuntch is setting them up to fail, be humiliated, and thus end his career.

In their pursuit of the perpetrators, they end up getting a helicopter to go upstate New York, only to find that the previous gang member they had encountered had set them up. Holt becomes irate and despondent, but Jake reminds him how exciting the case is and shows him how he has gotten caught up in the politics of the case.

With this realization, Holt decides to tackle the case head on and use the resources available to him, and so they solve the case. To Holt's chagrin, though, he realizes that Wuntch wanted him to succeed on the high-profile case to that she could promote him to a desk job he hates.

Meanwhile, Terry and the rest of the precinct are hosting a field trip for the Brooklyn Park Magnet school, which he's trying to get his twin daughters to attend. Terry gets them to make the precinct kid friendly, but the kids are bored until Rosa and Amy decide to show them some of the gory crime scene phots. This almost blows Terry's cnances at getting Cagney and Lacey into this school, until the teacher is convinced of the value of the learning experience the children had.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 Episode 22 Quotes

She's the devil, and you don't dance with the devil because you get burned. Also, because in Madeline's case she has no rhythm, and her hands are like little rat claws.

Holt

Holt: Why would you jump out of a helicopter with a knife in your mouth?
Jake: It's called a "chopper", and the knife is in my mouth because both of my hands are holding giant machine-guns.
