The episode opened with Sam and Jesse intercepting Agent Pearce as she was taking Michael downtown under arrest. With a little talking they convinced her to let Michael meet with Tavien. Michael went to the meeting and got Tavien to admit he killed Max. 

Michael revealed that he was wearing a wire and instead of going quietly Tavien jumped to his death. Pearce released Michael, still angry with him. As Michael got home, Larry, Michael’s former friend was there with a gun pointing at him.

Larry was there for his help breaking into the British Consulate’s office. He had kidnapped a man named Anson and was holding Anson’s wife hostage with explosive strapped to her to make Anson help. Anson had the codes they would need to get into the Consulate’s office.

Michael helped Anson escape and told him how to find Sam. Sam, Fiona and Anson went racing to Anson’s house to find it blown up and his wife dead. Angry at Larry and wanting to save Michael Fiona eventually planted explosives on the outer window of the Consulate where Larry was and baited him to the window and then hit the trigger. 

The explosives on the window and some in the lobby both went off. Larry and the security guards were killed. As Michael and Fiona sit talking about it afterwards Anson walked in and revealed that he was the last person who helped burn Michael, and if Fiona didn’t want to jail Michael would help him.
