- A rock star is murdered while being filmed for a documentary.
- The detectives are obligated to be filmed.
- The victim had grown up in a cult. He decided to help his best friend escape and was going to replace a current band member.
- The band member found out and killed James Swan. He had been with the band from the beginning and wasn’t going to give up his spot right before they make it big.
- Castle and Beckett make it through another week without being found out by Gates.
