Heather calls Casey and the boys to let them know she’s getting out early because of overcrowding. Kelly, thinking he’s confronting a mistress of Benny’s, finds out the mistress is actually his sister, Katie. Boden gets a cat scan for lung cancer, and officially announces his retirement to the firehouse.

After the big call, Boden decides to fight for his spot in the house, Benny decides to return home, Heather takes the boys to Florida for a new start, and Kelly has dinner with Katie.
