During the Anthropology final, Shirley went into labor. Britta tried to be her rock, but the sight of the baby crowning made her throw up. Abed came in to assist in the delivery, but Shirley didn't feel comfortable so Britta stepped up and delivered the baby, while Chang comforted Shirley until Andre arrived. The baby turned out to be Andre's, but Shirley wanted to name it after Chang. Ben Bennett it is.

Meanwhile, Pierce grew tired of Abed and Troy's handshake, so he paid them $1000 to let him in on it, which almost ruined it for them, until they regained the passion upon the birth of Shirley's child.
