Dean Pelton confronted Jeff over taking an Independent Studies class that didn't exist.  Jeff insisted it did exist, claiming Professor Professorson to be be real, and took the Dean and Annie to meet him.  Jeff was surprised to find the professor actually did exist, confiding in Annie he had totally made it up.

Jeff received a phone call from a disguised voice warning him to tell Annie to stop pursuing the conspiracy, while Annie realized the toy car in her diorama wasn't starting.  Jeff tackled Annie to the floor as the toy car "exploded."

Annie's and Jeff continued investigating the professor to find out the Dean had pulled a prank on them.  They confronted the Dean with fake guns from the drama props department, to get back at him.  Through a cycle of gunshots and reveals, Annie conspired with the Dean to teach Jeff a lesson on academic failure, Jeff picked up on that and conspired back with the Dean to teach Annie a lesson on friendship,  the two realized the Dean was playing them and re-conspired to teach the Dean not to mess with them, and the professor conspired with a police officer to teach them all that fake guns are not toys.

Troy and Abed had a sleepover and built a blanket fort that took on a life of its own as the other students in the dorm joined in and expanded the fort into a network of neighborhoods and tunnels.   Once the school newspaper did an article on them and they realized they'd gone mainstream, they initiated "Protocol Omega" and dismantled the entire fort city.
